Lune Active - History

Lune Active was born at a crossroads in the lives of its founders Ashley Samwel and Lisa de Vries. They both live in Amsterdam and were struggling to find the right outfits for their busy working and active lives. And so, Lune Active was born with their perfect partnership.

The first style Lune Active ever made was the Luna Rib, it’s body hugging, perfectly shaping and super comfortable! The ultimate seamless legging made perfectly for intense fitness activities or the ideal choice for your daily go to outfit. The Super seamless fabric is made of a blend with the environmentally-sustainable polyamide Q-Nova fiber with new polyamide. Which means these garments are 100% recyclable and Sustainable!

Lune Active - SS21 Collection

The SS21 Collection is characterised by the perfect balance between shaping activewear and fashion forward pieces. The collection offers different layers of knits, tennis - inspired details and own developed fabrics. Further styles include the iconic luxury travel suit, the perfect shaping leggings, a relaxed fit trousers, knitted sports bra’s and premium knitwear! The SS21 Lune Active Collection introduces a variety of new colours. All of them inspired by what Mother Nature created around us, all over the world. Pink Clay was inspired by the Columbian Sea, Azure Blue finds its origin in the Dutch Caribbean and the colour Bone is influenced by the volcanic sand.

Lune Active - AW21 Collection

Following the Brands DNA, the colour pallet is yet again very neutral and full of earth tones. The colour offering includes: taupe, deep purple, brown sugar, pine green, earl grey, petrol, deep indigo and black. The AW21 Collection differentiates from previous season by now offering products from XS to XL. There is also a new product category, woven knitwear, in the lounge wear section. The whole collections is build around Lune Actives best sellers, leaving us all spoilt for choice!

The increased demand resulted in the destruction of the goat population in the grasslands. VK Cashmere is truly committed to the environment and takes this into consideration by preserving the beautiful grasslands of Kashmir and truly producing sustainably. VK are working with partners in order to support the effects of desertification that has taken place in Kashmir.

SS20 Previews - Dea Kudibal

Dea Kudibal was founded in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves and shawls made from vintage fabrics. Spring 2008 saw the launch of the first Dea Kudibal clothing line with feminine prints, playful colors and flattering silhouettes as the brands DNA. The stretch silk quality has become a signature for Dea Kudibal. The luxury of the quality, along with the great durability has made the stretch silk an essential part of every collection. Each season new unique and exclusive prints are designed with love in Copenhagen, where we had the privilege to enjoy the first preview of the gorgeous SS20 collection - ‘The Artist Collection’ which also introduced the use of the best quality viscose and cotton for the first time.

SS20 Previews - Campomaggi

Marco Campomaggi thinks, dreams and designs collections which combine the ancient art of treating leather with creativity, precision and painstaking care in craftsmanship. Each Campomaggi bag tells a story. Accuracy, care, attention and dedication are fundamental ingredients when creating the first prototype of each new model: a very delicate phase, the first step in transforming an idea into something tangible.

We visited Campomaggi’s factory store in the Italian city Cesena for a preview of the stunning SS20 collection and ended the visit with a wonderful Oscar’s themed dinner and dancing under the stars.

SS20 Previews - Kennel & Schmenger

Kennel & Schmenger was founded in 1918 and has a long and proud tradition that combines handcraft and zeitgeist in their manufacture. Kennel & Schmenger’s distinctive handwriting has elevated it to become one of the key brands in the premium segment. With the collections’ variety within all product groups their styles convey both aesthetics and casualness. Over the years Kennel & Schmenger gained essential experience. This comprehensive know-how is used throughout all groups of products like pumps, sneakers, sandals, boots and booties.

We had the pleasure to visit Kennel & Schmenger’s factory in Pirmasens which is one of the last remaining factories in Germany that still produces locally. It was incredible to see how the shoes are created from sketch to finished product with the greatest detail and care.

New to the AW18 portfolio are the gorgeous bags from Italian brand Campomaggi. Handmade in Tuscany these are a truly unique. It is the kind of special bag you expect to find in a small boutique and that will last you a lifetime. In fact, they only get better with age!

The brand is stocked at Merci in Paris, Barneys in New York, Jules B in Newcastle and Square in Bath to name a few.....
