We offer 12 week work experience programmes at Oldstrom. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into buying and sales in the fashion industry and the general running of a business.
Tasks involved include:
Assisting on sales appointments
Showroom up-keep
Sample Management
Sales administration and customer service
Social Media
Assisting on marketing i.e. newsletters and invites

Profile
Marketing/English/Fashion/Business management student preferable
Candidates who would like to progress and continue within wholesale
Previous experience within the Fashion Industry is an advantage
Proactive, self-starter and can-do attitude is a must.

Wholesale Account MAnager
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have:
· At least 2 years’ experience in fashion wholesale in the UK and Ireland
· Experience working for a contemporary mid, premium or luxury brand
· A proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding targets
· Must have excellent network of UK & Ireland fashion buyers including the boutique market and Department store buyers
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Comprehensive experience of order processing systems and dealing with key accounts
· Well-presented and mannered
Full clean UK Driver’s license
Job Description
· The successful candidate will be involved in selling all brands in the Oldstrom portfolio but will mainly focus on selling BRGN, VK Cashmere and Tomorrow Denim
· Order management
· Responsible for sales development and growth within the UK and Ireland
· Establishing structure and processes and overseeing new retail initiatives
· Building strong business relationship and ensuring continuous customer relations
· Reporting key market trends to management inhouse and directly to the brands
· The ability to do presentations and communicate effectively via video conferencing is as important as your market knowledge and negotiating skills
· Working at tradeshows including Scoop International, Copenhagen Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week
· Showroom up-keep
· Sample Management
· UK and Ireland store visits
· Organise and run staff training as and when required

Fashion/Business management student
Candidate who is interested in the Fashion Wholesale industry
Previous experience within the Fashion Industry
The candidate must be eligible to live/work in the UK and travel internationally.
