Location: 77 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, London

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 18:00

Contract: 3-months - beginning ASAP

Oldstrom is a wholesale fashion agency based in Shoreditch, London. We specialise in premium, contemporary women's wear and accessory brands that have a unique product offering for our clientele.

The Role

Oldstrom Agency is looking for a motivated and personable showroom assistant to join our team immediately. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that puts you right at the heart of the fashion industry - ideal for someone eager to learn and ready to get stuck in from day one.

Your Mission

What you will be doing:

  • Providing a confident, polished front-of-house presence for clients and buyers visiting the showroom

  • Trying on garments during buying appointments to support the team in presenting collections

  • Steaming, pressing and preparing garments to showroom standard

  • Packing, organising and dispatching samples efficiently

  • Hosting clients with warmth - from making great coffee to creating a welcoming environment

  • Supporting the team with admin tasks, including email correspondence and updating spreadsheets

  • Potential to get involved with social media content — capturing behind-the-scenes moments and supporting our online presence

Who You Are

  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thinks on their feet

  • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and buyers directly

  • Professional, positive and adaptable - no task is too big or too small

  • Basic admin skills with working knowledge of Outlook and Excel

  • Comfortable and confident trying on clothes for buying appointments

  • Any experience or interest in social media is a bonus - but not essential
